My Journey to Holistic Health and Wellness
The Beginning

The seed for Think, Move, Feel – Yoga, Pilates & Balanced Living was planted in 2006, but my journey towards health and wellness began much earlier. Like many young women, my life revolved around work and family. I was conscious of my weight but loved food and relied on short-term diets to manage my health. In my twenties, I competed in Latin and Ballroom Dancing, but after moving to Australia and becoming a wife and mother, my exercise routine dwindled to walking the dog.

A Turning Point

In 2006, I joined a 12-week fitness challenge that changed my perspective on what was possible. I learned that:
-
Healthy eating doesn’t mean sacrificing delicious meals.
-
There’s a difference between exercising for change and maintaining fitness.
-
Our bodies are capable of healing when given the right care.
-
If you truly want something, you can achieve it.
Winning the challenge in the over-35 division at the age of 50 was a confidence boost and sparked my passion for helping others, eventually leading me to become a personal trainer.

Finding Balance Through Yoga

By 2011, despite being fitter than ever, I felt burnt out from long working hours and an overactive mind. That’s when I discovered Bikram Yoga. Yoga became more than just a practice—it gave me mental clarity, emotional balance, and the ability to cope with life’s challenges. This experience deepened my commitment to movement, mindfulness, and holistic health.

The Evolution of Think, Move, Feel

In 2015, I founded Moves for a Better YOU to help people transform their lives through movement and nutrition. By 2018, I left the corporate world to fully dedicate myself to this mission.
Over time, I noticed a common theme: many clients wanted to lose weight and look good—often for a special occasion—but their mindset didn’t align with lasting transformation. This realisation led me to explore the deeper connection between mind and body. In 2020, I discovered Personalised Health (PH360), an epigenetics-based program. Learning about my own health type was a game-changer—it allowed me to truly accept and understand myself. Naturally, I became a Personalised Health Coach to support others in the unique way they need.
As I continued my studies in meditation and sound healing as lifestyle medicine, I saw my work evolve beyond fitness. After a decade in the wellness space, my original business name no longer reflected my philosophy. True transformation begins with self-acceptance. As Suzuki Roshi said:
"Everything is perfect, and there is always room for improvement."

This is why I rebranded as Think, Move, Feel – Yoga, Pilates & Balanced Living—a name that embodies my holistic approach.
